So i'm not really an eyeshadow person but I want to stat wearing it. Where can I get good powdered eyeshadow? I dont want anything blue or too wild. I'm also black.

Stila makes the best powder eyeshadow in my opinion. They offer a lot of colors in different finishes and you are bound to find what you are looking for. They have natural colors....Also, Bobbi Brown.

Best natural colors - definitely Stila and Bobbi Brown as Suburban Snob points out .. if your starting out..you'll probably feel more comfortable starting out with the naturals.

In the more colorful end of the spectrum and with a much waster color selection you have Shu Uemura and MAC. Some of MACs textures are said to be harder to work with ..such as velux.. but I think that basically is down to the quality of the eyeshadow brush you use.

Other great labels: Lancôme, Chanel, Dior and Clinique (I have a typical Scandinavian complexion.. and Clinique has a lot of colors that go particularly well with fair Scandinavian skin..not sure how you'll find the colors tho'..).

I'm not sure how well that navy-ish color suits blue eyes...but I don't really care, I love that color

I have blue eyes and live in navy-ish eyeshadows, I think it works!
Contrast is such a gorgeous colour, I think it's going on my "to-buy" list :flower:

At the moment i think i bought the best eye shadows ever Yves Saint Laurent Eye Colour Touch in green and in bronze. They are just like my Touch Eclat but with colour.
I just hope they keep producing those because for now it was presented has a Limited Edition.

I would say Urban Decay, NARS, Shu Uemura and MAC make the best eyeshadows. They're pricey, but last a long time (on your eyelids) and the color selections are really good and vibrant.

I find that the cheaper brands the color isn't very bright/intense and it doesn't last a long time.

It's very lovely, I tried it on today :flower: Used it as an eyeliner, it's a lovely colour. Not too obviously blue, more neutral-ish.

You've sold it to me! Haha.
I've bought three MAC shadows since saturday, but suddenly I NEED one more :P

I have blue eyes and wear navy blue eyeliner-it works also... I'll sometimes add some navy eyeshadow-looks great!

I wish I loved Chanel eyeshadows. I find they just do not do it for me! It's sad because the packaging is so chic.

I keep Guerlain eyeshadows always. Giorgio Armani has great colors too, and the texture...., soft really.

SeneGence makes cream to powders shadows that go on liquid, dry to powder shimmery finish, contain anti-aging properties and are waterproof. SCORE!
