Best length for cropped pants??

BR has some really cute cropped pants on their website. I really like this first pair. (They have a 19" inseam.)

This second pair is much shorter with only a 14.5" inseam. I "think" I kind of like them too.

Any opinions on either pair ladies? I have another question too. I already have 2 pairs of cropped pants and ALWAYS wear them with knee high boots. How do you wear yours? With tall boots or with heels?

the first one makes me think that there are short legs that are magically elongated...i dont like it at all. the second one, doesnt hit me as bad as the first one...but i'd wear those with heels instead of tall boots.
