My vote would have to go for Fall/Winter 2003.... SUCH a magical season! There were SO many collections from SO many designers that I absolutely loved. Dior, Galliano, Givenchy, YSL, Balenciaga, Versace.... The list goes on and on.

Definitely a strong contender. I find F/W more creative in general, at least for men's fashion.

I really liked spring 2001 and spring 2002. Everything just seemed to come together. Spring 2004 has been a disappointment and fall 2004 seems like it'll be even worse. Get ready for a new dark age in fashion.

I personally liked fall 2001, despite the tragic world events that happened in that period. Gucci, Neil Barrett, Prada, Costume National, Dirk Schonberger, etc, all churned out amazing collections for men, and of course the rivalry that developed between YSL Rive Gauche menswear and Dior homme was enormously entertaining and both collections were brilliant in their own ways.

Too bad everyone, myself included, was too upset to care about clothes by the time the clothes actually hit the racks.

I must agree with you all on Spring 2001. For me,it was the season that we were introduced fashion-wise to the feel of nu-romanticsm or melancholy romance. Everything that season was tremendously poetic and there was a sense of calmness amongst,in particular, the indie set;unlike previous seasons with very rigid and harsh provocations there was a return to beauty. Real, raw, nonchalant and emotional beauty.

I loved Spring 2003. That has to be one of the overall sexiest seasons in recent history. The whole mini skirt/50's pinup/ Chinoiseire thing worked for me. Even some designers who aren't known for sexy did sexy, look at Marc Jacob's naughty housewives collection. But Europe definitly stole the spotlight for sex, Gucci's minis and kimonos were orgasmic. Overall, just a really vibrant, uplifting season.

I agree. McQueen's "Irere" show, Galliano's Holi festival-inspired show ... even the little showroom for Atelier Versace.

In the recent seasons I would say Spring Summer 2011. There was a lot of diversity : N.21, Sportmax, Max Mara, Phillip Lim, Gucci, Pucci and Ferragamo were my favourite. And for once I found the Chanel show to be interesting which does not often happen

Fall/Winter 2007 is the best season for me! The designs during that season were so...CHIC!!! Dior, Chanel, Prada, Dolce and Gabbana, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, John Galliano, Valentino, Gucci, and many more were so AMAZING! Definitely one of the best seasons in recent memory!

I'd give anything for another Fall/Winter 2006 to happen again. From ready-to-wear to haute couture, even the menswear, it was just an all-around great season (year tbh).

Since I can only speak for the more recent seasons, I like S/S 2009, S/S 2010 and S/S 2012 (except, unfortunately, my favourite brand Miu Miu).
