Best party ever???

What was the best party you've ever been to? where was it, who was there, and what made it so fun?

I was in miami a few years ago for new years 2000/2001 and I went to the shadow lounge on wash ave for what had to be the most enthusiastic new years I ever spent. the dj was talla 2xlc from germany & his trance, electro, progressive etc was really out of hand energetic. I went to many raves in nyc in the 90s but few of them matched the new yaers vibe at shadow lounge that night 2000/2001.
and Ive been living & partying in manhattan my entire life & been to at least a thousand parties by now if not many more but I'll tell you miami parties harder than any other city ive ever visited & that includes london, paris, rome, san fran, la, and other party capitols.

not to mention that like 2 days later I went to club space in downtown miami for danny tenaglia, 1 of the worlds greatest djs, and ive heard DT maybe 50 times in my life, including several in miami, but his set in jan 2001 at space was just off the charts, and of course he played until the late afternoon the next day !!

i can go into a hundred more amazing parties at crobar, twilo, tunnel, limelight, roxy, palladium, club usa, danceteria, but Im telling you the parties I went to in miami in 2001 may never be matched.

including winter music conference in march 2001 when the ultra fest at bayfront park had digweed, carl cox, nick warren, pvd, gatecrasher, and about 100 other djs for a totally mental rave.

i party very hard in manhattan, but i tell you those suntanned nuttys & candy ravers in miami REALLY party. I also saw great sets by derrick carter, paul oakenfold, dave ralph, tony humphries, and tenaglia's 2001 wmc set which some people call his best ever. i think january 2001 at space even topped it.
in fact im not even sure i ever recovered from the miami trips i took from 2000-2003, i wonder if that sobe revelry took a permanent toll on my psyche? its very possible.

but then again later this week junior is spinning at spirit and also the secret machines are at irving plaza and derrick carter & bad boy bill are at avalon so any of those could be 1 of the best club nights of 2005 so its more fun to look ahead than look back.

my old friend jessica's birthday party in 7th grade. it was four hours long, and i had never danced so much up until then...completely innocent, awesome fun!

r u going to Ultra and the Music Conference this year? you should, it's gonna be the shizzle costume time!


Best parties I've been to:

*My Boyfriend's 21 bday party, at the Keys, one island rented, lots of candy, bunch of ravers and hippies thrown together, nothing else to say, the pics said it all

*My 20th bday party at Prive, everything was pink, VIP area closed for me and my friends, big cake shaped in a pink Converse, and I had one male stripper coming out of a bunny suit The highlight, a Chopard watch my best friend's dad bought me as a present, which I ended up rejecting cause im good like that

*Drum & Bass events every wednesdays at my friend's house, they're the shizzle

*Wednesday nights @ The forge ( my job)... fashion shows, goodie bags, free dinner, free drinks, what else can u ask for?

*Club Space for after hours, not sleepy yet at 5am? go to Space and get all fcuked up and dance through the morning...always until 1pm
*Ultra!! that sh*t is insane, no other words to describe it, three days of madness! waa waa waaa and last year I broke up with my boyfriend there, so that was one hell of a celebration!

*High School Senior trip to Ibiza... Fcuk prom, swimsuits, $40,000 raised to go somewhere, what else can I say? I got the best tan, and the best time ever!

my friends 15th, everyone was dancing from 8 till 4am, her dad is some big top dj guy so the music was amazing, there was like 800 people all cramed together in a big rave. everyone danced and raved until evey litterally just collapsed. Ok so we had to pay damages on the place as there were coke lines left in the loos, and a hell of alot of rubbish. it doesnt sound much, but it was more there people who were there and the whole atmosphere, and i met my x-boyfriend there. it was great and my friend gave great party favors. the room was decorated gorgous as well purple and gold, streamers etc. so pritty.

*Deep Dish @ Costa Rica on dec last year ... on a few words ... first Open Bar at my fave place to meet up with friends ... second, an earthquake in the middle of the DJ playing ... third ... got VIP access just cuz everyone loved my tee shirt ... fourth lost and found 5 hours later my best friend ... five ... Hunky guy (period) six ... breakfast at the Casino at the beach with the entourage!
*My 21st birthday is a date to remember .. a lot of first times.
*Carla's nights out ... with her ... we were invincible!
*Last Halloween ... went to boring stiff party then fled to my fave bar and bumped into EVERYONE!

Probably my own birthday party when I was in grade 3. I was fun and carefree and all my friends were there. And I liked it and loved my gifts. Short and sweet!

I really don't like "grown up" parties with all the drinking, smoking and drugs. Not me at all.

I once went to a party, where all of my class mates too were. It was really fun and we had a great time. I guess I was only around 12 or 13 but still the party was very nice.

I don't really go to a lot of parties, but I'm going to a BIG party in the last of May, where I'm going to hang out with almost 44 people from two different classes.
