Best Self-Tanners

i have just tried a new one recently- i bought it in Harvey Nichols and its called Rodial - they have an instant glow and a new brazilian tan which is apparently the darkest tan on the market

the one i have is the instant glow - i have weird skin which some tans like fake bake and st tropez dont work on but this works a treat

I remember buying this right when it came out. Now they have it available in three shades... according to skin tone... I bought the fair one for body and face, and have applied it twice and have seen a difference. A good one.

Nice. I use the Medium-tan one myself. It's works much faster than I thought. I was pretty surprised. Nice replacement for those WetNwild bronzers we liked:heart:

^ not really...I forgot what it was or who it was but on some style network show once they had a colored celeb and she was talking about how she swears by Scott Barnes Body Bling. I think it's more shimmery than dark tan-y looking! And who cares? If it looks great than keep doing it!! :flower:

I've been using Jergens Natural Glow, and for a drugstore brand it's great. (it is the only one I've ever tried though..). If it looks streaky or anything, it comes out more natural after I've showered..the color's still there it's just not as streaky/uneven! I've really wanted to try St. Tropez or Fake Bake or another brand..but I'm scared too because I'm very pale/pasty..I don't want to look dirty or brown. Just a nice sunkissed look..adriana lima-esque?

Pink Lipgloss I use Johnsons Holiday Skin too, I'm very fair with red hair and i love it, its subtle but you can build it up and its a great moisturiser too.

I think it smells lovely too!

hey kssable, does l'oreals bronzer make you look naturally tanned or tan and super shimmery?, bcuz their advertisements with Leticai Casta, she always looks like shes been dipped in shimmer

I have tried every self tanner on the market and I think CLARINS INSTANT GEL self tanner is the BEST tan in a bottle : )

i use this foam one by neutrogena and it actually works.. unless i drop a sweat or soemthing then it leave a nasty streak. so i guess thats not good.

sublime bronze -glow !
It's amazing and cheap.. ( you can buy a different product specially for the face.)

Good self tanner suggestion?

Hello!

Does anybody have any suggestions for a good self tanner? I want something that looks natural and is easy to apply. I am concerned about breaking out so I want something that I can apply to my face and won't cause me to break out.

Thanks!

I use react from http://www.reactcosmetics.com. I'll have to admit, although I'm blonde, I've always tanned pretty fast naturally. This brand isn't for fair people that can't tan I would say. I would check out http://www.sunless.com, their forums are great and very informative. In general the Neutrogena line is good. If you're super pale and turn orange easily, I would suggest making whatever you have that turned you the least orange less concentrated with moisturizer.

Tatika- wash your hands after applying tanner! Or if you want your hands to be a little tan too put regular lotion over your knuckes, then tanning lotion. I use Jergen's as well! The smell is ehh alright. When it runs out I'm going to try the Vaseline one, I always run out of Jergen's so quickly, and Vaseline lotions usually come in huge bottles!

how long do mystic tans last?
and can you shower afterwards?

I've done it twice.

At first the color looked really good, and they tell you to not shower for like 8 hours or something.

I kept thinking the color looked good, until I showered. Then, you could barely see anything.

I went back and did it again like two to three days later.

Same thing.

So I went on my cruise with hardly any color at all.
