Best Self-Tanners

^ sephora.com If you want a whole set including the exfoliator/moisturizer/tanning product its $50 ...but if you want just the tanning product it's around $30. I have fair skin and I'm not sure if it would be worth it to get St. Tropez--if you get it please, pleassee! tell me how it works out!!!!

thanks a lot!! shuggastiletto! i hope i find it in the sephora store this weekend... im going to orlando...:buzz: ill let you know how it works if i get to buy/try it!!! :flower:

I apply it on my face its the flash broncer by lancome and must say i  it.

okay i tried reapplying without exfoliating and it worked fine except for a tinny color difference in my neck but i am sure that tha was me not doing something right:blush: . I am redoing today because i love how i look tan (as if its natural).:woot:

Now i wonder why i hvaen't tried fake tans before???:p

I use l'oreal sublime bronze and i find it works the best for me...

I tried the Jergen's natural glow for acouple of days and noticed a little difference but I stopped using it. I'm going to try it again. This time I need to make sure I THOROUGHLY apply it evenly...my first time, I went to work the next morning (with flip-flops) and saw the streaks... omg, irritated me the entire day :(

I got a spray tan the other day and they used St Tropez, and I love it. It looks great. So much easier than applying it myself! ^_^

and PinkLipgloss- does cookies and cream come off w/ just water or do you need to scrub w/ soap? Like if water splashed on it, would it drip off?

hi, sorry haven't replied earlier.

no, you have to scrub it with soap. I actually tested that, in case i went out in rain or something, so i splashed water on my legs and it didn't come off at all! :flower:

The Body Shop - S.O.S. Fake it!

^^the best self tanner i´ve ever seen and used=)

I am very pale and neutrogena build a tan works best for me. It takes a couple of days to get really deep but it looks really good and people always think it is natural, they don't believe me when i say that i use self tanner.

i use lacome flash bronzer really good, or a cheaper alternative is almay's one works just aswell

Almay has something? It's crazy how so many of these cosmetics companies have gotten in on the faux tan craze. It has a big market, though, so I suppose it only makes sense.

yeah true. But i think its good, it sort of encourages a few to fake it instead of risking skin cancer by sitting in the sun - especially paler people.

^ Oh, I couldn't agree more. But quite honestly, I think this whole tan thing is starting to die down... I know I'm not as crazy about it as I was a couple of years ago... but maybe it's just me?

I'm using Kanebo - Honey Glow self-tanning gel. It gives you very natural tanned look to your skin, it's not too cloying & strong scented when applying it. And the tan lasts 2-3 days.

I'm thinking about Mystic Tanning, but I'm just too scared I'll look orange, cause I'm really pale/pasty! Maybe I should go with St. Tropez..? ehhh idk

^If you do a Mystic level one, it shouldn't turn out too orangy--just a nice light golden. I know a few porcelain-skinned people who have done it :flower:

Self-tanner

What is the best self-tanner? I am extremely (not overexaggerated) pale and i never tan in the sun (i burn, peel and go back to pastey white  ). I have tried various self tanners, they either leave me streaky, extremely dark, or both. What self tanner would you reccommend?

I know it's not a self-tanner but have you tried Mystic Tan? It's fake but it's sunless and it's applied using an airbrush.

My mom does Mystic Tan and it looks great!
I'm very very pale and I would never think of tanning, I like my pale skin! A tan is very flattering on most people though...not on me!

Well you can go to a Mystic spray-tanning booth at a salon that has it.. but they also have the actual spray in a bottle. :flower:
