Designed by German-born Nelli Turner, the label’s name derives from her childhood nickname ‘Lali’. Based in London, Turner worked for Clements Ribeiro before setting up on her own in 2001. Her modern designs – with their strong, clean silhouettes - won her the prestigious New Generation Award in 2004. Continuously fascinated by volume and texture, Bi La Li’s softly tailored jackets and coats top our wish lists and have gained Turner a super-stylish fan base that includes Kirsten Dunst and Lily Donaldson.

yea, she has quietly set about establishing her line. Has quite a large number of accounts in japan.

This stuff is fantastic... emits a natural ease, I think. It very much reminds me of Norma Kamali, the dresses esp.
