When the screen went back Nikki stood motionless in the doorway, managing to add some new facial contortions to her already extensive repertoire.
She was so reluctant to take a step forward that Davina was forced to climb the steps and get her. This is what happened next...
D: "That was the most bizarre eviction, it felt like a final night."
N: "Can I just say Jayne is the most hilarious person I have ever met. I love her and Pete till the end. She's hilarious."
D: "But it's down to her you're here."
N: "Why?" (sounds hurt)
D: "Because her rule-breaking naughtiness got you evicted."
(Nikki shrugs shoulders)
D: "Are you warm enough?"
N: "I'm sweating, I've got BO."
D: "You smell lovely. Do those tantrums work in the outside world?"
N: "No I just make a point and it makes me feel better. I do it at train stations and people look at me."
D: "So you're not acting?"
N: "No. It's really bad. I look like a demented God-knows-what. I'm surprised I'm not being straightjacketed up and wheelchaired off."
D: "What did you get out of those Diary Room visits?"
N: "To vent my anger. But they don't listen to me about the heating. I told them about it five times today."
D: "Maybe they have to listen to the other housemates too?"
N: "Oh yeah, Richard is the worst. I stayed up all night and got wind chill because he wanted the air con on."
D: "Why does everyone fancy Pete?"
N: "Because he's the most special person in whole world. There's only good in him. He's had a very difficult life and he's come through it. He's an amazing character."
D: "Do you love him?"
N: "Yes, I love him."
D: "Does he fancy you?"
N: "Nah, he likes the ghetto girl."
D: "Will they get it together?"
N: "Yeah, she'll jump straight into bed with him tonight."
D: "Were the problems between you and Aisleyne because of Pete?"
N: "Not just that. It's because when I tell a story I want everyone to listen, and she thinks I want to be centre of attention."
D: "But you do."
N: "No, I just want them all to listen. I don't want to tell the story to one group of people and then another group because they don't hear it the first time. But when I start to tell a story, she goes (sighs dramatically) and goes 'boring'."
D: "Why did you call the new housemates 'clones'?"
N: Because they're clones of us. Like Michael copying Pete's hair. But I didn't think that so much towards the end. Jayne is amazing, I love her. But I didn't warm to the others. They are irritating. We'd been there for eight weeks and that lot come in...
D: What have you learned about yourself?
N: That! (referring to the montage of her over-the-top tantrums)
D: Who do you want to win?
N: Pete. But if by some miracle he doesn't, then Jayne.
D: Any regrets?
N: Yeah, having the crappiest week on my last week. Why do I have to come out now? It's such a shame. It's my own fault.
