i'm haunted by 'Virus'. It's probably my fav song of 2011. (so far). Both music and lyrics are just perfect. i just got the app with the 3 mini apps for the songs and im completely obsessed now. everything is so perfectly detailed and perfect. I cant wait for the whole album.

i got the digi copy of biophilia and all i can say is....stunning!

thunderbolt is easily my favorite already. all in all it resonates....i would probably say it's her strongest work to date. and i say that as somebody who felt vespertine was her best. such a culmination of brilliance leading to this album,i think. interestingly like her good friend PJ Harvey's latest work.

Mutual Core is my favorite but the whole cd is quite mind-blowing. the mixture of intensity with the soothing sounds is unreal

^agreed! hollow with it's added elements is quite something to behold as well.

New album: Biophilia

Moon

As the lukewarm hands of the gods

Came down and gently picked my adrenaline pearls
They placed them in their mouths
And rinsed all of the fear out
Nourished them with their saliva

Now I'm all rejuvenated and rested
Now I'm all rejuvenated and rested

As if the healthiest past-time
Is being in life-threatening circumstances
And once again be reborn

All birthed and happy
All birthed and happy
All birthed and happy
All birthed and happy

Best way to start-a-new
Is to fail miserably
Fail at loving
And fail at giving
Fail at creating a flow
Then realign the whole
And kick into the start hole

And kick into the start hole
And kick into the start hole

To risk all is the end all and the beginning all
To risk all is the end all and the beginning all

I just bought tickets for one of her Paris shows in March.
I haven't seen her live since 2008.
I'm super excited. I can't wait!

apart from the gaultier...strange to see her in done up in that way given how we've become accustomed to her style now. would have been interesting to see her in some early MMM or comme des garcons.

have to correct one thing on that i.D. credit...the make-up was done by alexsandra byrne....the clothes were by alexandre matthieu who she wore a lot of during those years.

New Björk Album, Feat. Production By Arca, Confirmed For 2015
It’s been three years now since Björk released the skittering, science-inspired album Biophilia, and lately we’ve been hearing rumblings that she’s working on its follow-up. A few weeks ago, there were reports that she was working with Arca, the Venezuelan-born and New York-based producer. Arca, who specializes in dessicated deconstructions of apocalyptic dance music and who worked with Kanye West on Yeezus, issued a clarifying statement on Twitter: “rather than “sole producing,”@bjork and I are coproducing music together! just a quick correction to phrasing !! *curtsie*” And now Björk’s camp has effectively confirmed that she’s got a new album coming out next year, posting on her Facebook that she’s skipping the Biophilia Live premiere at this week’s London Film Festival so that she can work on the album, which is due next year. Björk tends to do amazing work when she’s paired up with a bleeding-edge electronic producer, and Arca is absolutely that, so this is a good time to start getting excited.

I'm excited by the news, since Acra worked with Kanye and FKA twigs who I'm quite fond of, I think its going to be pretty neat to hear.
