^^^they do that with the flip flops and ugh's when they're only filming them from the top part of the torso..it's to make actors more comfortable.. if you look closely, not many scenes at all do you actually get to see a full body shot of an actor..
it's like most newsreaders wearing shorts or jeans with a suit jacket sitting behind a desk

thank you for explaining that! every time someone mentions that they are wearing uggs, i want to be like... well, this is why!
