The girl in saawariya is not rishi kapoor's daughter its anil kapoors daughter sonam kapoor.........the guy is ranbir kapoor who is rishi kapoor's son lol

India has alot of beautiful women with very different features...and they don't always look indian! and yes worldwide brands have been available in india for years.........i just think alot of people don't realise how modern india is now

Im not indian. Im half paki and half iranian..but I want to wear "desi" clothes on my wedding and want to start looking at designs/designers now..do you know of any websites I can look up? I know there are a few pakistani ones, im forgetting the names. I have them written down.

I read an article on her that said before she got the role for SAAWARIYA she was an "plum overweight girl" who then hit the gym hardcore and transformed herself. Are there pics of her when she was "plum and overweight" ...I would like to see haha

As for desi wear, you could try magazines such as asian woman, asiana....they are all uk asian bridal mags

dmi india are quite good because they sell replica outfits as seen in bollywood films

Those pictures are not clear at all and taken from horrible angles and light.
Sure she was overweight but she had beautiful features to begin with.
We all change the way we look growing up and learn how to take care of
ourselves. Plus she has the bombastic bollywood crew to get her ready
for any show.
I think most girls during eid, diwali or south asian weddings look that
gorgoues when they have the makeup, big jewellery and the saree/lehenga/
kameez.
