Bora Asku RTW Fall 2003 (London)

I think this collection is particularly noteworthy for the knitwear. Design influences from Chalayan to McQueen stand out (especially in several pieces not shown in the plate below), yet a more or less significant departure is the role of texture and textiles in his pieces.

Regardless and on its own... some novel use of spectacular and beautiful knits (I suspect most are done by hand) both alone and in interesting combinations with leather, silk and jersey.

Not too bad at all. 8)

This is really a beautiful collection, albeit a bit impractical. It's evident the design and construction were very nicely thought-out, though. I love the color palette, as well.
