does anyone know where I can buy the large trigger bag in NYC?
I'm from the Netherlands, and I'm going shopping there next month :woot: that bag has been calling my name for weeks now and I just HAVE to buy it. however, it seems they only sell the medium and I can't find any places which sell the large size..?

couturecrazy-- check www.botkier.com for a list of stores. I know Searle and the Barney's Co Op stores carry them.

I really like new Fall Botkier bags - especially since they kept all their classics and then threw in some new ones (the Emily, Safari, Convertible).

I got 3 Botkiers from the Spring Line - Trigger, Holster, and Crescent. I really love them, and the three compartments on the holster and trigger rock my world.

I'm definitely gonna end up getting the Emily, but I'm not digging the bland colors (brown and black).

i am about to buy a large black botkier trigger tomorrow and had a quick question. does this bag also have those pockets that you can get to when you unclasp the buckle that goes underneath the bag? sorry i am trying to describe it but its hard. i've seen pictures of the medium canvas ones that have the pockets under the flaps with the zippers and was wondering if the large leather bags have it too? thanks for any help!

If you are talking about the front of the bag where there are two zippers, if you undo the clasp, there is one large pocket on the bag you have access to.[IMG]

I drew a really crappy arrow to where the hidden pockets are. Another pocket is on the same spot on the back. You don't really need to unbuckle the bag to get to them.

I am interested in getting a Botkier also...and I've been eyeing the luxe trigger in the small or the Safari bag in the purple...i can't decide! I need an everyday bag and I'm wondering if the bag is durable and does the leather get really wrinkled/cracked at all? Is it made in Italy? For the price, would you agree this would be a better buy than the new Gucci logo hobo w/the horsebit?

the bags are made in new york, of italian leather. i have a fall 2005 trigger in black and the leather is really lovely, and i am extremely picky about leather. it's thick and smooshy and has been wearing in beautifully, getting softer and prettier... and it's got a pebbled-ish texture which i love because it's difficult to scratch.

i think botkier is a great value because the materials used are of such nice quality. there are so many more expensive bags out there done in such gross leather, i don't understand it. like the fendi spy... i pre-ordered one, thinking that the leather would be so sumptuous and soft... saw it in the store when it came in, touched it briefly and was disgusted.

    hello!

can someone please give me an idea how much the medium trigger weighs? (like use a bathroom scale? hehe)

is it a heavy bag (like cole haan bags)?

    thanks for your help.

hi! what are your opinions on the luxe trigger metallic fatigue color? thinking of getting it. seems more attractive than the olive one which appears kinda duller. would appreciate your replies...thanks! :)

please be extra weary about purchasing botkier bags (especially the trigger style) on ebay. I have been to shenzhen and seen a lot of fakes, especially in the chocolate and cognac color. please don't get ripped off! :flower: they look exactly like the real thing. I don't want the money going to some crooks.

I really like the Botkier bags that I have. I have the Clyde in Patagonia/dark teal and black. I had the holster in nubuck but sold it bc that shape didn't work for me. I really liek the leather and the shape of the Trigger & Clyde. The trigger's 3 sections are great for organizing your stuff too

new spring stuff is on botkier.com! i am loving the bombay tote in the bigger size. will definitely buy one sooner than later... i have been looking for something like this for a long time. also comes in natural which i adore, but i am very afraid of light-colored bags.

I really like the shape of this bag. The Mahogany shade is nice too. I wonder what Orchid looks like. Does anyone think the strap will fit over the shoulder?

I am also liking the Skeleton. I think it'd be a nice bag to have for winter 2006.
