Oh God, I can't believe I'm actually saying this--"I wore those in high school!" But they were Calvin Klein in acid wash. They were so cool. It's a hard look to pull off unless you're thin, thin, thin. Otherwise it looks like you're trying to hide your big butt in baggy jeans. Not cute.

Same. Since boyfriend jeans are usually baggy (and therefore often: sloppy), I like them with trainers/converse to give a nice, relaxed look.

Yes, with a Donna Karen bodysuit with the upper part of the thigh showing... Totally. Aghhh. God, I'm feeling ancient at 34. C'est la vie et la mode.

I bought a pair of j brand paperbag waist and they're kind-of boyfriend, kind-of high waist (overlapping both looks) but I love them. They're 35" and I usually wear a 33" so I'm forced to put on a pair of heels but I like the look a lot.

gap has the perfect boyfriend jeans..
they are just right, the wash and everything.

mine, of course, were too long, but i just rolled the hem over once and then once again so they are rolled over maybe an inch-and-a-half at the bottom and then i wear a really girly top with it, like a floral print cami or something. wore that tonight to the movies actually

I finally got a pair...I dug through my boyfriend's closet and found a pair of his old jeans that he never wears, so I asked if I could have them... Might post a picture next time I wear them. They are the best!

lmelanie, I don't think they make you look bigger unless you don't balance out the loose bottoms with a tighter top... I've definitely got a butt and mine look fine.

marylauda totally agree! If you wear it with a tight, simple tank/tube top they look great! I'm stealing mine from my bf. I think you loose the idea/feeling when you buy them that big.

LAtely i have been focusing on skinny/straight jeans that are a lil baggy. i find much more flattering than any other style that is in now.

hmm... i rarely wander into these threads because i dont care all that much about my clothes... but this is a trend im in on, in fact, i dont know that its a trend, or that i really have many other types of jeans... i grew up in a family with 3 boys and basically got their hand me down jeans, so in a sense i've always worn the "boyfriend" jean, which i affectionately refer to as the "un-boyfriend" jeans, simply because i think that they repel boyfriends... i think that they pair well with a white hanes tshirt... ok maybe i just like wearing mens clothing..
