i cant remember anything he's ever done. so ok, change your look. looks like a bunch of Guy Laroche without the couturier aspect. A few looks have problematic construction. Middling construction and a boring look, whats the point.

It's giving 2 parts Narciso, 1 part Yohji. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it isn't really appealing when a designer's look changes so drastically each season.

Not really. Most of his brand's popularity came from the anticipated hype of him casting mid/late 10s IT girls in his shows. It's a bit like Vaccarello's eponymous label, where he often did shows where Anja follows Karlie, who follows Jordan, who follows Cara, who follows Vlada, who follows Daria, before we finally get back to Anja again.

That it could have come from the staples of any brand is actually rather attractive in these days of trolling gimmick signatures. Maybe Brandon knows to cater to his customer, to offer them these form-flattering separates in the tradition of classic American sportswear. ...And maybe I’m being too optimistic and generous LOL

It all looks well-constructed but that’s only going by these retouched lookbook shots. Hopefully the quality is impeccable. It’s so vague that it’s ideal for that woman who doesn’t want to be advertising which designer she’s wearing— only that she looks so good. And there’s potential for strong, simple silhouettes for that woman to make it all her own. If I were a woman, i’d be interested: And I’d wear Ann D boots and Tom Ford croc boots with those very simple dresses/skirts. And maybe A Lemaire coat— or my GBF/boyfriend/husband’s great coat to top it all off. Frankly, it’s a lot more attractive than that awful Phoebe Philo gimmick of a flap that looks even awful on models like Rosie and Kendall— like they walked out of the barbershop still wearing the tarp/bib.
