This was my exact thought ! Mayowa actually sells this to me otherwise I think it would fall flat. Very flat !

It is hard to offer a substantial critique of the collection when there is nothing there. While the colors used do add a pop to the clothing. there is nothing fashion-forward or even slightly modern in this collection. No amount of cutouts and fabric manipulation can save this, there is much room for improvement.

It's ok for what it is.

Very basic construction. Reminds me of my first construction class in design school.

The movement in the shots and model adds A LOT. This could be a vogue or butterick sewing pattern for all I know though.

I don't understand why he is being propped up.
