Oh I love Brigitte. So good looking and so talented and such an icon, espacially for someone who loves the 60s as much as I do.
I recently discovered her classic 60s eyeliner styled eye makeup for myself. *lol* I apply my eyeliner in this style very often lately and I love it:

I think she wasn't a brilliant singer and obviously, she hadn't a privileged voice. However, I like her songs and her yé-yé style very much, as I have some family in France, I think I tend to like French music and artists especially from the yé-yé period. My personal favorite BB's songs are Un jour comme un autre, La Madrague and Comic strip with Gainsbourg.

About her singing, i can't say that she has a good skill or voice or being a good singer, but all i can say is CUTE, the way she "speaks" in her song (i'm not sure but maybe is the yé-yé style that you mentioned ) , how she dances and moves around, all is contained in the word "cute".
