well,have you ever seen her in a film? I can imagine that some of the pics posted here don't really transmit her,uh,charism.she's really got something that aforementioned pamela anderson (d'uh! ) or also kate lack of. I'm afraid I can't describe it that well, but from my point of view, your comparisons are rather inappropriate. (besides,it's difficult to compare a person who had her prime in the fifties/sixties to sb nowadays,there was a way different thinking concerning a woman's appearance going on then - brigitte was really standing out at that time )

I agree that she is a mix (on the outside) of Pamela Anderson and Kate Moss. And also Jessica Simpson. Or they are a mix of her because she was before them. But I don't think Brigitte Bardot is overrated at all. She was an amazing woman and still is.

i couldnt agree with you more, i never thought much of brigette until i saw her in the movie contempt, she was not only soooooooo beautiful but it was definetly her charisma that stood out.

Oh yes I def recommend Godard's Contempt for anyone who likes BB. She is really charismatic in this film. + beautiful.

I think that Kate has in a way molded helself a bit to look like Brigitte in the last couple of years, with the long flowy messy hair (if you look back Kate was a brunette) offcourse hands down Brigitte is the original icon with the original style, but I have to say that Kate has done a good job at updating the look if you will, the outfit still resembles Brigitte's a lot but has more like an update for this generation, she has said so before that Brigitte is a huge influence and you can definitely tell haha...
