I know what you mean but this is not the real thruth and you should read what she says to have your opinion...it's easy to make a rumors about someone...all Brigitte life was full of rumors...I worked for her and I can tell you she is not racist...if you want more informations pm me and I will say why she is not like you say.....coz I think you say that by the press or internet....

Brigitte wrote two books and they both have passages of violent hatred (not to mention utmost vulgarity) directed at various cross section of people. Her own words. Her husband is also a member of the extreme-right wing party FN which is a known for anti-semitism, bigotry, racism, sexism, etc. There is no need to whitewash what she has become, especially since it isn't that surprising considering her generation and social background.

Anyway, she was a gorgeous and stylish woman, and that's what this thread is about.

No sorry I can't let you say that...I have those 2 books and you can't say she is racist because there are 2 center who are talking about immigrations where she says what she thinks about it but what things some different people about this ..and a second center who are talking about the custom in some religon who are horrible for animals...so 2 center in a book of 400 pages..the media makes the rumor that she racist! Now for her husband, it's true is from the FN but she always say (if you read and litsen her interview) that she didn't think like him and she was not in any political party...Now me who worked with her I can say that there are many people of differents origins who work with her and who are friend with her.....Now you can think that you want it's your freedom, but I think it's important to be more informed, Now I agree this topic is not about this part of her life but I was just answered at one question..

i think shes racist too and not just because of her books. i agree that its not surprising because of her background and generation.i think its because shes not intelligent and she has her heart in a good place so people forgive her but shes very prejudiced. we are here to talk about her style so we can agree to disagree.

I saw the movie Contempt (or Le Mepris) recently. One of the best looking movies I've seen in a long time, and not just because of BB, but the settings are great.

^yes i saw that film not too long ago as well, and it has become one of my favorites. The setting is beautiful and I think it's one of Brigitte's best films.
