well i picked the darkest brown colour out of the choices i had - they make my eyes really dark

ah..did you get yours from the web?
my local opticians don't offer different shades...:(

Wow...all you ladies bemoaning your sweet baby blues are making this brown-eyed girl's day :woot: :p
I swear, I never thought anyone would crave brown peepers.

I'm in the same boat as you Orchide. Coming from a brown eyed and brown haired girl I would love to have blue eyes for a day. Or even better, Elizabeth Taylor's gorgeous violet-blue eyes. :D

^ :D
what can I say, I was never really fond of my eye colour.
it's not that I don't like blue eyes in general, but I've always fancied those really dark, deep eyes. plus I've got very pale skin and black hair, and I think dark eyes would be the perfect match. and,as already mentioned, dark brown eyes work out the best with heavy eye make-up IMO B)

no i got mine from my optometrist

I love Brigittes style mostly that one she had when she was younger.
That's my favourite combination blonde hair+pale skin+brown eyes/smoky eyes and nude/pink lips.
I also love her as a singer, her songs are so beautiful and adorable. My favourites are La madrague and Bubble Gum.
I have her DVD Divine B.B. It includes all her music videos. I really wish I could scan it but I don't know how.

I've always thought she was gorgeous, but I just recently bought and watched The Bear and The Doll, and And God Created Woman...WOW she's so gorgeous and i love her makeup, hair, clothes, etc. Shes also a really good actress, she's really funny in the bear and the doll

yeah, those are my two favorite Bardot movies-she is so breathtakingly beautiful in both movies! And bratty....but I LOVE IT!

there're so many rare pics at gettyimages.com, I really like this website:heart:

Does anyone else think Kate Moss and Brigitte look alike...I think in a lot of Kate's pics she looks like a Bardot throw-back.

I don't really think that they look alike but I think Kate dress like Brigitte sometimes.

i definitely see the resemlance. it's not noticeable all the time, but in certain pics- perhaps its the crooked teeth- they really do look alike. here for example...

something about the smile

This was actually her first fashion shot, for Elle France. She was 16. I like the fact that she could be quite grounded, did her own make up on film sets, was not too much in the diva trip at some point (she once went to dinner to Maxim's -a famous French posh restaurant in Paris- barefeet!) and she had that incredible self-confidence that makes the great fashion icons. Although if you watch most of her films, she's a pretty bad actress. But most of the films she made were bad anyway. She hated the movie industry and she said many times that making films was a chore. My favourite ones are La Verite, If Don Juan Were a Woman, In Case of Adversity, Viva Maria and A Very Private Affair.

A book I love because it covers her fashion sense very well is this one:

Apparently the reedition contains a cd (this makes mine a collector!!).

I love almost every single pic in this book. :woot:
