as if gloves are some new thing that they just noticed...

if it's every fall, people...it's not a trend...
...

now, if you're just shopping the gloves and finding all your faves...
that's great...have at it...

but that should be in the accessories forum...no?...

^Well, if I created this thread it was because gloves had a bigger presence on the runway than last season. They seemed a bit more statement-y for Fall 2012 with those studded Burberry Prorsums, more colorful gloves, differences of fabrics etc. But if you feel like moving it out, you're the mod!

I can kind of see this as a trend. I mean its not just standard black/brown leather gloves. Definitely see this trickling down to the high street and them doing a load of bright/patterned gloves...a bit like how jazzy socks have suddenly become a 'thing'

^I noticed that too, but then again, I've been craving some colored leather ones for quite some time. I think it was an Dries Van Noten outfit from f/w 10 with orange/brown gloves that did it for me.
I've just never been able to justify buying a pair since I always lose them

Totally agree. I also like the 'real' colors Which can be also be matched with other things like e.g. scarfs.
