Britney Spears reportedly left a voicemail for her legal team on January 21, 2009, at 12:29 a.m., battling the conservatorship over her set by her father, Jamie Spears.
Here’s the transcript of said voicemail via JFX:
“Hi my name’s Britney Spears. I called you earlier. I’m calling again because I just wanted to make sure that during the process of eliminating the conservatorship that my father has threatened me several times, you know, he’ll take my children away.
I just want to be guaranteed that everything will be fine with the process of you guys taking care of everything–that things will stay the same as far as my custodial time. That’s it, bye.”

Social workers from the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) visited Britney Spears' home to investigate claims the fallen pop star abused her two young sons, celebrity gossip website RadarOnline reported Thursday.

"Social workers visited Britney's house recently about the alleged abuse allegations. Under California law, anytime anyone makes a report to child protective services, a welfare check is required to be made under law to further investigate," a family source told the website.

"It doesn't matter who has made the claim, or how outlandish it may seem. During the visit by officials, there was absolutely no signs of abuse," the source added. "The boys are happy, well-adjusted toddlers that love their mama, and Britney is fiercely protective of them."

The source also said the investigation was "95 percent complete" and described the former security guard who brought the charges as "an opportunist seeking his 15 minutes of fame."

Former Spears employee Fernando Flores claimed in June that he had seen the pop princess abusing her boys and had even been asked to provide his belt as a beating apparatus.

Spears and her former husband, sometimes-rapper Kevin Federline, categorically denied all allegations by the "disgruntled employee."

I'm not sure about that diagnosis. And anyway, up to 5% of the population is bipolar - most of them are not having their children taken away from them.

She used to seem perfect, now the genetic predisposition that made her radiant has also made her unravel, like many other stars before her. Why should we pick her apart just because she used to be a "flawless young girl"....while leaving her male counterparts alone....

Hmmm...it goes without saying that 5% of the population can't have their kids taken away from them...a lot of people with serious conditions have children and they are not taken away from them unless the parents' behaviour is rather atrocious.

For all we know, Britney is being actively treated for her problems and all we have seen of her misbehaviour lately is a little fit on the street. Big deal. But if I'm missing something, please post the link...
