same beautiful coats and tailoring. His Pre-fall stuff never excites me, but I always look forward to the rtw collection

I like this which in my opinion is better than the mess he gave us for his spring collection. My eyes are still hurting from them!...Classic tailored pieces that is Burberry. I will buy some of these

Christopher has lost his spark at Burberry. He needs to bring back that rock n' roll vibe that made him such a hit. This does absolutely nothing for me. He is capable of much better.

I think he's focusing way too much on the business side of things and less on the creative and it's beginning to show. He spends an awful lot of time on media related stuff and Burberry acoustic trying to make the brand more visible and digital but really he needs to let Angela Ahrendts handle that and he focus on the clothes.

^I agree. It seems as if designing isn't first for him anymore. His collections used to be so amazing, but this is so basic.

I don't know... I'm rather smitten with Burberry Prorsum. I think, if something's not broken, why fix it?

I agree that it's not terribly new. I think he'll pulled back a bit here, compared to say the last couple of RTW seasons where he was trying to be more experimental with colors/fabrics. And it's a change I welcome because I wasn't feeling the 'trashier' Burberry.

Also, I love those gowns.

Man, I saw a picture of this somewhere else and got excited cause it looked nice but now that I see it all I'm a bit disappointed I like the jacquard flower pieces and some of the pieces, but as a whole it's boring. Cut it in half and throw out the awkward cat sweater and it would be a little more exciting

At first when i saw the first two looks i thought it was an accidental repost because they look like pieces he's done before.
I know its pre-fall don't get me wrong but this is terribly basic and very bland, he's done such fantastic collections in the past that have been so wearable yet so wonderful (i.e. Fall 2007).
One thing i do like are the oversized bags, they're quite nice, particularly the crocodile one in burgundy in post #2.
He's definitely focusing on the business side too much, focusing on figures than actual desirable clothes, the color palette for this is so re-hashed it's unbelievable.
