Burberry S/S 2026 London | the Fashion Spot

Burberry S/S 2026 London

So the CEO asked Daniel to design a collection reflective of his (the ceo) latest marketing campaign that was dramatically different to the aesthetic infused by Lee.

Thank god Lee is talented and managed to make something out of something that could quickly turn into a Hedi Slimane world.

It’s almost too glamorous for festival, sometimes it looked like Coach but it had a creative intention similar to his fantastic Bottega Veneta SS2021 collection.

Now can he just leave Burberry and go to Fendi help Silvia? I want Fun Furs. Festival is not fun to me lol.

He looked handsome taking the bow.

Excellent collection. I think he has really started to master the commercial/creative aspect. All the festival without the bo-ho yuck often attached to it.

The soundtrack was so good that I could've kept watching the livestream just because of it. But I did also like this more rock and roll approach to Burberry and I loved his use of brighter colors.

It's a no for me. His Burberry could be heavy at times, but it was a nice take on utilitarian elegance and I liked how he added precious dresses at the end. This is too juvenile in a Coach/Slimane way. I missed the rich textiles and slightly bourgeois feel.
He belongs to Milan. They can give Burberry to Jaden Smith.

I don't hate this, but I also don't know how it's meant to land. It might've made more sense in 2008, but that second wave of "cool Britannia" is long over. J.K Rowling is a TERF, Agyness Deyn is retired, and the UK is a provincial sh*thole. So who is this for? What sort of fantasy is it asking people to buy into?

^^^ Impressional 15yos???

…Everything reminds me of better designs from Etro/Cavalli/Rabanne/Belstaff cobbled into a budget version of Christopher Bailey’s Prorsum. (Nice to see the return of the Prorsum logo design for the label.)

At least this is very precise with the aesthetic of Saltburn trustfund babies at Glastonbury. Kate Moss has already offered this for Zara— but I guess this is of superior craftsmanship? (And I say this with @LadyJunon’s profile pic expression…)

i like it, i think he should have focused more on the glamorous after parties theyll haave in their hotel rooms after festivals for the set instead of literally in the sand. The styling shouldnt have been that literal with the hippie vibes as the clothes look too precious for it.

Too bad theyll ask for haute couture prices for the outerwears.

60's, for sure.
I know it's heritage of the UK to some scale, but the Black Sabbath soundtrack gave me anxiety.
Just saying.

Did someone from Hedi's Celine team end up here?

I have mixed feelings about him, but I wish there was a time machine and he did what he did for BV at Versace or Gucci instead. He was really able to capture the energy of going to the club for the new generation that catches flights to Miami, Berlin, Dubai etc. to party. Here it's completely wasted.

Very 'digestible', borderline tweeny. I do love the pop colors but some of it is just garish. Pink and green should NEVER go together. Burberry has a LOT to work with, which makes this very forgettable.

It reminds me a great deal of Christopher Bailey’s Burberry, which I welcome since it has that easy, 'pretty' vibe without the droopy proportions, bad taste / funny touches and ugly shoes I would attribute to Daniel Lee’s usual design - In short; I appreciate this looking A LOT more toned down, something that feels believable for Burberry.
