Gigi is such a perfect fit for this Guess campaign!!!
The pressure Riccardo has is kinda insane. There’s a sense of emergency in the way they are delivering products, announcing new collections and the way they are pushing their fragrance that i hope that the numbers will follow fast and that he will find more room for him to express himself.
That being said, I love the TB monogram! I just love the monogram which is weird considering that I generally hate logos all over like that but this is kind of fun.
The campaign is fine but all over the place compared to the rest of the whole communication at Burberry.
I need a sense of cohesion!
This would be good but the open legs pose ruined it all for me!
Also I totally agree with Lola701, we need some coherence.
Boom! Cong totally outshines Gigi. So effortless and cool unlike that pose of Gigi. (Please don't misunderstand me, I'm no Gigi hater, I actually love some of her work, but not in this case)
Love Cong's shot! Gigi doesn't look bad either.
The desperation and loss of identity make me a little sad. The logo/clothes somewhat remind me of Fendi.
tick tock ....
if they think overloading the public with a constant stream of product is the way to success i think they're going to be disappointed
Happy to see Nick's work again! Also want to see more of He Cong's shots.
WOW, He Cong’s shot is incredible.
My same complaint as always...there's nothing about this that feels British.
They sold their soul and there's no recovery.
He Cong has something that unfortunately Gigi doesn’t have... Charisma!
Quite unfair to have her with Gigi as she totally outshine her.
To be honest, this seems to be what works these days. Look at the numerous collabs of Virgil Abloh (sneakers, furniture, travel bag..., Water?) And they all seem to sell. Burberry IG teased a limited edition TB Monofram Towel on sale. Unfortunately, these monthly "drops" are what works in this era.
It really is so shamelessly soulless LOOOL
10 years ago, this sort of offering would be the cheapness that you would find at the brand’s outlet in some nondescript strip mall deep in the suburbs of the midwest. But in 2019, outlet basics are the frontrunners— with a premium campaign by Nick and starring the top (Insta)model, and will be splashed all over their flagship stores at a premium price. You can’t make this stuff up LOOOL
This is so uncool im cackling. Why did we have to be reminded of that song LOL?
He Cong is rocking her photo though!
I was just scanning the Burberry IG account and there's a great pic of Grace Elizabeth, she would've been a much better fit than Gigi, she has that cool effortless vibe that Gigi doesn't have, making the campaign look "uncool". He Cong is a perfect fit though, she looks like a star without trying. Also I'd have Ezra Miller - he's gorgeous, cool and loves fashion. I'm surprised he's not in a high profile campaign.
Gigi is equally solid. Her moves are bubbly, frothy gorgeousness. She doesn’t get enough credit where it’s due. Just that… who cares? Such outlet basics. Monograms and logos are the cancer of fashion design.
Gigi reminds me of Danielle Bregoli the cash me outside girl.
