The word "Forbidden" could possibly allude to the age of the girl - Barbara is 18, if I'm not wrong. Either way, she's not a patch on Natalia.

^i don't think that's true. Although they have similarities Sasha and Gemma are their own unique beauties. In this case Barbara is definitely styled like Natalia, but I don't get the sense of Euphoria from this as I did from Natalia's.

Sasha and Gemma did have similarities, but they also possessed a very strong idiosyncratic look of their own which transcended the similarities - Sasha, for instance, is fiercer with more piercing eyes and sharper cheekbones, more striking than Gemma, whereas Gemma - wide-eyed and doe-like - is more ethereal, and otherworldly beautiful.

Barbara too shares a passing resemblance to Natalia, but possesses no exclusive, transcendental quality which sets her apart from Natalia. She's deliberately made to look like a younger version of Natalia in this advert, and one of the main reasons why this comes a cropper to me is because Barbara pales in comparison to Natalia. Even at 18, Natalia looked far more unique than Barbara does. Styling her and making her look like Natalia appears counterproductive. But no means is she the only teen riding on the coat-tails of an established model. I'd say the same for Daphne, who as often as not gets styled and is made to appear exactly like Lara, except, of course, she's not really a patch on Lara.

^ If I had to distinguish Natalia from Barbara, I would use the same word for Natalia that you used for Gemma and that is ethereal. To me Barbara is a more down-to-earth, less dollish and dare I say less vapid version of Natalia, so that is my two cents on the matter, moving on. I don't get the Barbara has been styled to look like Natalia comment when, even though I think that the image is absolutely beautiful, you have a picture of a model reclining with a close up of her face in the background, so if she is styled like Natalia, she is also styled like a significant chunk of other beauty ads as well. Having said that, of course it is no coincidence that Barbara has been cast as the new face of Euphoria, but this is not the first time that the doppelganger casting has taken place, with the most notable recent example being Daphne and Lara.

Natalia has been a very successful model and who knows what the future holds for Barbara, but she is a beautiful girl and this is a beautiful ad.
