Just a note, I worked on a shoot with Cameron a while back, and she is a sweetheart, really.... but when I was at Zac Posen's show, I saw this model walking crazily jerkily down the runway and was shocked to see it was Cameron! She looked great, but seriously her walk was off, her arms were flying everywhere, it was kind of painful to watch... there's probably a vid on youtube, if not style.com what happened?? Does she always walk like this? I think her agent needs to book her some help asap

Really great interview! I took a look at her blog and I love it. She's a really interesting and intelligent girl. She makes a lot of great observations and she's an adept writer as well. She's definitely playing her part to dispel the myth that models are unintelligent.

Cameron Russell's got a blog! Who knew? And whoever said models were dumb certainly has never met Cameron. It's called Funny and Interesting and it's everything from equal rights and gay marriage to the state of Israel, to her own personal doodling from class up at Columbia where she studies math and economics.

So why have I posted this model pic as opposed to something representative of her blog? Because every time I think of Cameron I remember the first time we met on-set for her and Terry Richardson's first time shooting for Harper's Bazaar. And it always makes me smile.
