Camilla Belle | Page 29 | the Fashion Spot

Camilla Belle

For a young woman (21 of age) her sense of style is very chic.
She doesn't remind me of Lindsay Lohan or Mischa Barton, etc.
She has a very elegant quality to her. I am looking forward to
what she will be wearing for her "10,000 b.c." premier.

I still love this look

Shall we begin with the low-profile, high-style Traina sisters? Indeed! Victoria (top left, with bangs) and Vanessa Traina never look like anyone else—a great compliment in these copycat times—and they upheld that individualistic standard at Prada’s party Tuesday night. (No wonder Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen asked the Trainas to style The Row’s lookbook for the spring and fall collections.) Our next duo was also snapped at the same Prada party, but they are related through employer rather than genes. On the left, in black, is Vogue’s Senior Fashion Market Editor, Meredith Melling Burke, and her colleague, Valerie Bolster. We spotted MMB at countless shows (blondie’s got stamina) always doing the effortlessly chic thing, like the above all-black look. Her little leather is excellent, as is the enormous cocktail ring and bondage shoes. Bolster also nailed it; her brown belt is a divine addition and you must love her excellent transitional outfit. Concluding this row is writer, redhead, model and designer muse, Jessica Joffe. Snapped at the Thakoon show (a fellow scribe himself, Thakoon used to work at Bazaar in the fashion news department), her luminosity makes it easy to understand why she inspires designers like Katy Rodriguez to create runway looks in her honor.

Technically, Anne Hathaway is not part of the fashion industry, but she’s pretty darn close thanks to her new Lancome spokeswoman position (oh, and you might remember her lead role in a certain movie about a certain magazine). That said, she looked super stylish at the Marchesa presentation with her biker jacket and dainty pink skirt. Next we have two models with major style—Miranda Kerr and Irina Pantaeva, respectively. Kerr was photographed en route to the tents in weather-appropriate garb (we appreciate a practical gal) while Pantaeva was spotted attending the 3.1 Phillip Lim show in a sculptural sweater dress. The darling Riley Keough (and former Girl of the Month) was also snapped en route to shows. We hear she’s scribing a Fash Week piece for one of our favorite magazines—hopefully this is true! Last, but never least, is the sweetly sophisticated Camilla Belle. She attended the week’s most coveted party, the Madonna-and-Gucci-hosted “A Night To Benefit Raising Malawai and UNICEF,” looking just as amazing as ever. And with that we must leave you, dear readers, for that’s all the Fashion Week fun we can reveal for now. But stay tuned, we’ve got something amazing in store for you!

I know I have. Nothing wrong with it. I think it is true. Having great style is nice, but it would better you know, if Camilla was equally well known for being a thespian, which I believe is her actual job.

She's still young & she took years out from acting to go to school so she hasnt had the chance to be in numerous films. She still has to prove herself & improve to get the big/good movie roles, which is what it's all about.

^ Personally I'm glad she's not up on some pedestal like...oh, I don't know...someone like Katherine Heigal, Lindsay Lohand, Mischa Barton to name a few :innocent:... who in my opinion are overrated. I'm glad Camilla is taking it slow and not breaking into the whole Hollywood scene like most young starlets do these days and then their carreer is over next year. You guys get what I'm saying? I for one would like see her not go in that route and to see her around for a while in this business.

Only Camilla could look gorgeous in fake blue contacts, mud and dreads LOL

Omg I just found out Steven Strait is also in this film! I really hope it's good!
