Camilla Belle Pictures Nylon Magazine February 2009 - Camilla Belle graces the cover of Nylon magazine February 2009 issue.She talked about working with Bruce Willis, the secrets of Robert Pattinson and her deferring Columbia University.
On her work in 10,000 B.C.:

“The work was frustrating. I felt like a puppet at times. I just had to realize, “OK, I’m not going to be challenged as an actress.’ You have to approach it in that sense: ‘This isn’t an acting piece, it’s a business choice.’

On working with Bruce Willis in her next flick, “Three Stories About Joan”:

“I was actually really surprised. He’s very passionate about the actors. He just wants to spend all the time with us, and we just talked and talked, all about developing relationships and developing the backstory.”

On her friendship with RPattz:

“My friend Rob [Pattinson], for that whole Twilight nonsense, the studio was having them take all these classes. It was the most frustrating thing in the world because they want you to speak like someone else, not yourself. It’s so silly. And I would be frustrated, too. I couldn’t answer questions any other way than how I would answer them.”

On her Columbia acceptance:

“I made the decision to focus on work, and take advantage of this time. But school is there, and I think the most important thing is to continue learning.”

The cover, I agree, is a little iffy. But the rest of the shots are better. Camilla always manages to pull it off in the end

The styling on that cover and even the editorial pages are atrocious. An intern could have done better. The shots are not great either. She is a very beautiful girl but she looks boring in the pics. Also I think this shoot is all about getting her to speak about Robert Pattinson and Joe Jonas which I don't think she should do. It's giving her a lot of bad press - fans seem to hate her. She seems like a nice girl. She needs to work on her acting though she was only ever good in one movie.

Camilla is such a classic beauty that I believe the styling in this shoot is just way too trendy for her. It does not do justice to her stunning looks...makes her seem like a character on 90210!

I think that she comes across much better in the video interview I just watched of her in #1360 than in print interviews I've seen of her before... She seems sweet & very down to Earth

that print interview is kind of revealing. not a lot of actors would cop to doing a film just for cash.

I think she copped to the doing the film for cash because her reviews were awful. She got a razzie nomination. She is kind of putting the blame on the movie. I hope her acting gets better - she never seems to let go. I think her mother runs her career too tight (plus she lives with her) and what is she doing with Joe Jonas.
