What is Camilla thinking these days? She chose to vacation and follow Joe around in Brazil over an appearance at Cannes? How many actors out there would die for the chance? Being at Cannes is an opportunity for professional exposure on the world stage, not to mention schmoozing with industry VIPs that could lead to future projects.

What is it about Camilla that makes me feel like she's not as serious with her acting career as she claims in her interview?

Frankly, I'm tired of seeing her follow people around. First it was Maria and now Joe. If she hones her craft and takes her profession more seriously, perhaps one of these days, she'll have someone following her around (other than the paps.)

I can't think of a single thing she's been in where i've seen actual good acting from her.

I see what you mean but maybe she had good reasons, i don't know, i don't know what to think but it's definitely true that she seems to consider her acting carrer like a hobby

I don't think her role in the movie is very big. I think she barely speaks. Plus she probably wanted to visit Brazil before she starts shooting 2 new movies Lorelai and that religious movie as well. I don't think she is the best actress - she is a bit self conscious but that doesn't mean she can't get past that. She got great reviews for the Daniel Day Lewis film. I saw her in some of her earlier movies and she really is not as bad as some people make her out to be.

Well shes dating Joe and Maria is her best friend so whats wrong with her wanting to spend time with them when she is not working? Considering there were alot of people at Cannes I dont think she HAD to be there if she didnt want to.. She clearly likes spending time with her friends and boyfriend instead of going somewhere like Cannes and I dont see how thats a bad thing?

I think Camilla can't act. I watched The Ballad Of Jack And Rose and wasn't convinced of her performance as Catherine Keener or Daniel Day-Lewis.

first of all, you cannot compare her to these 2 amazing actors. These are 2 actors that have experience way beyond her, she is young and she tried her best. i'm just saying don't compare her to people not in her category.

The fact that Camilla could get cast amongst such actors must mean that she has/had potential. I do believe that Day-Lewis' wife, also the director, hired Camilla in castings. So, the wife of Day-Lewis must have seen something in Camilla to think she could act with Daniel and Keener since she knows, first hand, how good of an actor her husband is.

I just didn't see Camilla do a very good job. In and of herself as her own actress, I was not convinced of her subtle, teenage rebellious act that I felt she was portraying. The two are in her category: actors. You can have lots of experience and not get cast or no experience at all, audition, and get cast. Experience doesn't matter, really.

i dont think camilla is good actress either. She did that movie where she was mute, "The Quiet", she was great up until the point where the started to speak. I think its her voice and the way she says things, it shows no emotion and makes her deliver her lines in a quite bland way

Well it doesn't seem to matter if a few random people think Camilla isn't a good actress because Hollywood does:

Halcyon toppers Victor Kubicek and Derek Anderson are producing along with president of production Joel B. Michaels.
Pic, about an expatriate social worker who runs a Mumbai orphanage on a tight budget and receives a mysterious multimillion-dollar donation from a Western businessman, will go into production in the fall.
"It's a simple yet terrifically emotional story that asks us deep questions about our lives, families and responsibilities," Caton-Jones said.
Halcyon is currently gearing up for the domestic release of its first feature production "Terminator: Salvation." The McG-helmed reboot of the cyborg franchise comes out May 21 in the U.S.

I like that when she's casual, she's casual. Unlike other starlets she doesn't look like she spent a lot of time getting dressed to so something basic.

^She's not just getting work she's getting work with good actors and good directors. What good actors and directors have Megan Fox worked with? Michael Caton-Jones has worked directed Deniro, DiCaprio, Liam Neesom and Tim Roth in an Oscar nominated role in Rob Roy. We are here for fashion but new movie roles leads to premieres, interviews, magazines which lead to fashion.

good thing that this director has experience working with great actor, maybe the rest of the cast will make up for her acting and the movie itself will be hopefully good
she's been making some really crappy movies lately

oh and ps. megan fox comparison to camilla just goes as far as being prety and mediocre acting. If were gonna talk about quality here we can use the girl in my icon for example. Dont think she's a good actress either but she has worked with some really good directors too.
