What does a non-famous person have to do to attend Fashion Week in NYC?

You can, however, find smaller ones going on. I know that my city has a fashion week which open to the public. Volunteering for lesser-known designers might be an option as well.

I agree with purple to volunteer. And not sure if it is like this nyc but i have heard that in London at least if you show up right before a show and make nice with security it is possible to get in to be at the back. But you have to at least look the part.
