Cara Delevingne slams paparazzi
Cara Delevingne thinks the things photographers do to get snaps of celebrities are "disgusting".
Cara Delevingne has accused the paparazzi of acting like "assassins".
The 21-year-old model-and-actress was snapped kissing her girlfriend Michelle Rodriguez in Miami recently and the pictures soon hit the internet. She's now hit out at photographers, citing Britain's Princess Diana's death in 1997 as a warning. The royal was killed in a car crash in Paris, France, in a vehicle that was being pursued by paparazzi.
"I really think that it's disgusting that Paris is the only place where it is illegal for paps to follow you around," Cara ranted on Twitter.
"It actually took someone losing there life! Diana, an inspirational woman and then it changed but they still won't change it in London!
"It's horrible!! How many people have to get hurt or even killed to realise that it's not right?
"It scares me because they act like they're assassins with there telescope lenses, hiding in bushes or whatever they can find (sic)"
Cara is hot news in the fashion industry and walked for luxury brands including Chanel during Fall/Winter 14 shows. Her high-profile romance with Fast & Furious star Michelle, 35, means she's garnered even more headlines than usual.
"Ha I actually used to feel so sorry for them, how boring it must be to follow people around all the time but some of them actually enjoy it," she continued.
"Rant done!! Needed to get that off my chest for a while! Also, I have never once seen a woman pap! Can someone explain that!? (sic)"
Cara isn't the only A-lister to voice their opinions on persistent photographers. Kanye West has also slammed paparazzi in the past and has been accused of grabbing a paparazzo's camera last year. He was subsequently charged with misdemeanour criminal battery and attempted grand theft.
