She left Storm to concentrate fully on acting, apparently.

So I guess she's just an actor now and not a model and should be moved to Star Style maybe?

Not a smart move in my opinion..

Or maybe she doesn't need a modelling agency to book her jobs as she is friends with most of her clients? I'm sure she will still be doing bits and pieces.

I don't think that's how it works. They still would get a cut of all her jobs, no? They're her mother agency.

She's still signed in NYC, which is probably booking all her jobs anyway, based on who she is working for.

I'm sure she finds acting more appealing and fun. Plus, she probably feels like she's accomplished everything the modeling world has to offer and, now she's looking forward to her next big step. Well, whatever she decides to do (in terms of career choice), I wish her all the best.

:flower:

^Yeah, she's said in a lot of her early interviews that she wanted to get into acting so it's no surprise that she may be slowly transitioning out of modelling. I'm excited to see her in the Suicide Squad movie.

and let's be real, folks -- so many of the campaigns and covers are given to actresses anyway. so we'll still see plenty of modeling work from Cara, even if she does start to focus primarily on her acting.

this exactly

I dunno. Her acting skills so far haven't amazed me on the same level as her modelling skills.. she was a perfect model. She did achieve the supermodel status according to models.com but really, she didn't accomplish everything.

I know acting was her first passion but it's sad to see former models just disregard their modelling past so easily. (And the whole "modelling chose me" thing is such bs, like she is rich and famous and semi-tall, of course it was going to happen)

I can't wait to see her in Paper Towns. I think she could be really good as Margo.

Give her time sharpen her skills--that's all she needs.

I don't find it sad, really. A lot of these girls (no matter how big their names are, right now) aren't going to model forever.
