Guest blogger and hair stylist Sam McKnight went back to beauty school with these prom-inspired dos for DSquared2. In his own words and pictures, this was the look:

"The inspiration was Sixties high school prom girls. I was thinking of girl bands such as The Shirelles, but also Peggy Lee and the more modern day Lana Del Rey. The result was big bouffants, beehives, and short kiss-curled crops, adorned with rhinestone clips. I loved the transformations of Arizona Muse and Cara Delevingne." So do we, Sam!
