Carolina Herrera Resort 2009

Resort was in full bloom at Carolina Herrera as the designer opted for a dainty orchid photo-print in an assortment of chic day dresses. Always feminine and polished, Herrera showed a crisp seersucker pantsuit, shirts with organza overlay and plenty of delicate ruffled tiers on blouses paired with pencil skirts and slouchy trousers.

^I don't enjoy the floral either, but I agree with everyone else that the innovation comes from how the flowers look. Smudged is a good way to describe them. Almost like watercolors.

i don't normally like carolina herrera at all...but some of this i find really lovely...

much more modern than usual, imo...
i love the combination of the unusual and pretty tops with the strong, wide legged trousers..nice...
