Carven F/W 2026.27 Paris

When we have these discourse around men and women designers.
He was with her at Carven, there’s clearly a common thread of aesthetic language between him and Louise but one would assume that She would be more regarding of making more approachable silhouettes because she is a woman.
For me this is the wearable version of Bottega Veneta by Louise Trotter.

I like the volumes but it lacks some fantasy and individuality. Louise was dynamic but hardly wearable or approachable.
Great sunglasses and the black dress (look7) is a knockout!

Is it enough for people to care about Carven?
I don’t think so…

Years ago here in Spain actress Ana Morgade worn a suit bag for an event...it turns out she was a pioneer!!

I like the concept but I hated the delivery. It looks so ill fitting. I love those box pleat gowns and that black smocked top but even those pieces are severe lacking on refinement. She needs to be able to materialise her vision that makes those garments look more flattering.

It feels like we're getting back to more sleekly-tailored silhouettes, and that these oversized garments are already outmoded even before hitting the racks

What
Is this
?
And who
In hell
Wears
This
?!?!?!
