The photograph is wonderful so kudos to the photographer. The styling, not so much. The shoes are awful. They really take this from elegant to a little girl playing dress up. Irony is not an easy task to accomplish. Everything has to contrast in harmony. I could handle the granny outfit if the shoes sexed it up. Unfortunately it’s more about the photograph than the products.

Caroline is a great beauty but they should've cast someone else for this. Her conventional beauty numbs the quirk of the campaign for me. If you want to go the Balenciaga route, go at it all the way and get someone like Sasha Knysh or Rose Daniels.

I agree. The clothing in this campaign is awful, but the photography saves everything. Good job
