congrats to Cassi! i hope she does make a comeback, but i fear her time has come and gone.
i saw her walk at melbourne fashion week in march, and she looks fabulous on the catwalk with a really distinct, albeit odd, walk. she's certainly got the assets, well she did back then.

I see very little potential in Cassi. She has ratty eyes and a snaggle tooth. Her editorial work is boring. Her walk is mediocre at best.
Most disappointingly, she clearly does not recognise any of the amazing opportunities modelling has afforded her. If she wants to be a bricklayer, let her.

Yeah, I really don't get the fuss over her one bit. Apart from her dreaded personality she has very gawky features IMO. She's kind of made her bed, so that's that.
She reminds me of an edgier Sigrid. Really, I think she has a great look but that's my opinion. I think she could still have an international career, having a baby could really change her as a person for the better. She's still very young, she's 18 right?

You read this thread right? She has a bad rep for a reason. Even if she's not hell on wheels like some people say, she makes it difficult to work with her. And makes the real professionals of the modeling world that much more appealing.

We've heard nothing but good reviews from clients she has worked with post-AusNTM. Why do you think she was constantly booked, and re-booked, here in Australia ever since the show ended right up until her pregnancy - and even with her horrible walk? Hell, even Alex Perry booked her
I've met her in a working situation, and she was professional and sweet.
People judge her because of her choice to stay in Australia, and her private 'facebook' venting is really the only blip. We don't know what went on in Paris, and the nature of the disagreements she had with IMG re: contracts and management with them and whatever else. Maybe you know more? (And she isn't the first person - or model - to say French people are 'rude'; she did it in what she naively thought was a private space, there's actually one model who did it in a casting video
)
And if you're going to say 'but she was awful on the show' - if you stop and consider it, she was actually one of the nicest of the girls on her series (the others were bullying and catty, who, along with the producers, targeted Cassi from the get-go because of her 'lower class').
The whole cassi-is-horrid, is so, so tired.

Agreed all of the clients she worked with in Australia liked working with her. RUSSH re-booked her multiple times, which says something. Also she was 16 on the show, i don't know many mature 16 year-olds, they don't think about what comes out of their mouths.
Hasn't her walk improved compared to what was on the show? I doubt Alex Perry would book her if her walk was still that bad.

^^Sounds like we're both talking from personal experience, but came away with opposite impressions. If she's a great girl and comes back to modeling and blows people away, more power to her. We'll see.
