The top part is nice but the bottom part makes her look like a stuffed turkey.

Perhaps it would of looked better if the front bit was longer.

I like the dress, but I agree. I would have liked it better if it'd been longer. It would kinda look like a period gown, but I like that.

I think the dress made her look bloated. She should have put her hair up in a really dramatic way, instead it's just limp, and the shoes make her legs look chunky. Meh.

I usually love everything she wears but this falls a little flat for me. It just all looks a little tame- it doesn't have that mystery or enchanting feel that the McQueen collection itself did. It's as if something is missing and the limp hair doesn't help. She looks classy as always but it's definately a disappointment after some recent choices like the Balenciaga in blue.

She looked horrible at the Golden Globes. Less "alien-ish", but still not good. Hair were also horrible.

I agree. It didn't play up to her shape at all, and the shoes were horrendous and made her legs look stumpy. She shouldn't have worn them with a dress that is cut out at the front because it "sectioned" (for lack of a better word) her body too many times and took the focus away from the beautiful neckline and sleeves.

I was so looking forward to seeing what she'd wear, too.

I like the dress on the runway but don't think it really works off the runway

the shoes are great though..

if anyone were going to make this dress work though, it would be cate... i can't really decide how i feel about it
