I think she looks gorgeous! Slightly different from the Catherine that we used to see rocking the catwalk a couple of seasons ago, but still undeniably beautiful! I still prefer her with darker locks, but she does look great as a blonde

Australian model makes rare public appearance

CATHERINE McNeil, one of Australia's hottest international models, made a rare public appearance in town on Thursday night, clearly putting to rest rumours she had put on weight or was suffering from a mystery virus.

It appears the healthy looking McNeil, who attended the Louis Vuitton Spring Racing celebration in Collins St, has simply being lying low - in between partying with, and snogging, on-again-off again gal pal Ruby Rose - and had wanted to take a break from the fashion circuit. But McNeil was not very forthcoming about why she had returned from New York so suddenly.

The model appeared to have lost the power of speech at the event and spoke only through her hard-working minder from modelling agency Chic.

"Catherine is here to spend time with her family," the minder curtly said."She has also being here shooting for the cover of Vogue's summer edition."

The only words McNeil uttered was that Vogue wanted to celebrate her newly-dyed blonde hair.

I am new to this thread-I saw her in the paper this morning in Melbourne & I thought she looked really good. It's cool to see her mixing it up. Pretty suprised about how many negative comments there are about her weight (puffiness), I mean-hasn't she been on hiatus?
