^ My comments only related to my impressions of her from that particular interview not in general. In other interviews I've seen, I agree that she does seem sweet and down to earth.

I think that it's unfair that people get shot down in threads for having any balanced view of a model other than complete adoration... mods have directed that with the closure of "models whose appeal I'll never get thread", those comments should go to the models own thread....

It is actually very boring when there is nothing in a thread but fawning devotion , and I agree, it was Catherine who first called herself the "bogan from logan"....

A difference in opinion is necessary on both sides. No one was shooting Rox down, just disagreeing. I think it was more so the way Rox put it, it was as cosabella said unnecessarily harsh. I myself certainly have a balanced view on Cat. There are other models I find beautiful albeit not as beautiful as her, such as Toni G. But I don't really like her personality so I am not as interested in her as I would be. I have a feeling that if Cat didn't seem like a nice person to me in an interview then I would say so just not as harshly put. But everyone it entitled to their opinion and I am grateful to yours Rox and Wednesdays Child even though I may not agree with everything said.

I heard a quite few days ago that she had returned to New York for work. She hasn't had much work lately, but I hope she is at the Chanel cruise show in Venice next month, it's bound to be spectacular.

Not yet unfortunately. I have been dreaming of Cat for Givenchy and I think things are changing up in that campaign so she may have a chance.
