So I just came home from the Rucci Show and I am searching for words to convey my disappointment. I hope somebody will post the pictures soon, so you will see for your self.
1. If you want to do RTW, do RTW and not a client based collection with no theme whatsoever.
2. The colours were totally random. Taupe, Grey, Black, Beige and suddenly a completely unappropriate yellow. But not this seasons yellow.
3. Some of the clothes were actually badly made (AND THIS AT A RUCCI SHOW, WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT).
4. Who wants to see a 40 year old model?
5. If you show garments like these, show them in a pace, where you can actually appreciate the details, and do not have them move in an ecstatic pace to arabian dance music.
6. Get a PR that makes people actually show up. I mean they let people from the streets in to fill it and still only the FR was full..
7. If you have exquisite knotted details on the back of the dresses dont let the hair cover them...
8. Know, how to combine fabrics.
9. End a show with a finale....
What a disappointment. The Location (Couvent des Cordeliers) was nice though...
