i like the hi boots..i think it makes it all more modern and very chic...
it's very grown up...and possibly the best collection of his entire career...
much sexier and edgy than what he usually does...

really nice...
with the exception of some of the evening looks which i think missed the mark...

but- really nice...

whatever it is...it's a stroke of genius and i love it!

As usual, Mr. Rucci does adult, tasteful items. I can see his older ladies like Deeda Blair, Martha Stewart, Charlotte Moss wearing pieces, and he may be reaching down a bit to pick up 35-50s.

^ As far as I know for the last few years he's been presenting his couture looks in his RTW shows, instead of showing during couture week in Paris.

I'm really digging this. I've always appreciated his clothes, and really once you've had the chance to see them in person it's impossible not to appreciate them, but this is a fantastic collection from him. It's tougher than I'm used to seeing, but it's still very him.

That leather jacket with the split sleeves and the furs worked with strips of organza are outrageous. I also love the black caftan type gown with the chiffon at the shoulders.

I have to confess I'm slightly disappointed at how trendy this is. Of course it's gorgeous and delicately crafted but it lacks the classic factor.
