Love this Those fur pieces are wild, and those last few looks are just sublime; very feminine and sexy. Easily the best collection I've seen this season so far. Can't wait for detail shots.
best he's done in a long time...
so many must-haves in this show...
super sexy cool...
I think he is one of the most underrated designer. I really love his work
Some of this is outright genius. I am in love with the ruched blazers - I think they are some of the finest pieces of clothing I've seen in seasons, and can be easily worn without having a lot of "courage". I also adore the draped black "swirl" dress, the elongated-collar coat and the simpler dresses toward the end. These are all pieces that will undoubtedly stand the test of time.
This is so great! Perfectly balancing avant garde and commerce. Stunning.
Best thing Chalayan's done in ages. Everything is so cozy and fluid and I love how the furs stick so close to the body. Truly clothes you want to live in.
Finally something with real substance. He's a master. His latest collections were amazing and this is no exception. Hussein is a treasure because he's one of those few designer who can make interesting clothes in terms of cuts and fabrics but also really well equilibrated with the wearable aspect. I'm just envy of his clients.
The highlight of London, without doubt.
Just imagine the wonders that he would do at Balenciaga with the archives. Such a pity.
sculptural and yet at times halston-esque.
very much of the future, with a small nod to the past in the draping and stoles.
Really nice (especially the last part).
So classy. This looks like it’s designed to capture the Philophile customers in mind.
Exquisite. One of my faves.
Gorgeous collection. One of his best in a while.
My only complaint would be that the presentation of these clothes don't quite give how beautiful the clothes are justice. I really think this would have benefited from a more dramatic show space...even just darkened room with spotlights. Would have added some drama.
What he currently uses for his show - light grey setting, daylight...feels a bit pedestrian.
Side note...I miss his first name Hussein in the brand name.
