Chanel Beauty S/S 2015 : Vanessa Axente | the Fashion Spot

Chanel Beauty S/S 2015 : Vanessa Axente

Feels like she's standing between mistletoe and that suspended hand looks a bit weird ('I need some fresh air?'). She looks beautiful but almost not herself anymore.

I don't know...Her beauty ads recently don't cut it for me.
The pose is very unnatural.

Jesus, beauty collections has really become stagnant! We've been getting the same looks season after season. At this stage I swear they shouldn't even bother anymore. It seems that nobody can equate Fred Farrugia's thematic collections for Lancôme.

I hope Sigrid will form part of this campaign because Vanessa looks very underwhelming here. I wish they'd just stop with her.

she gives me a Daphne Groeneveld vibe here

I just don't think her face is right for a beauty campaign but this is still better than the previous seasons.

I like this, but not for Chanel. Vanessa does look really good here.

Vanessa looks great but the makeup itself is horrible.

As much as I like Vanessa, I have to agree that she isn't really a perfect match for cosmetics--at least Chanel makeup. Her features are a little too "strong"...it's the same issue I had with Gisele for Les Beiges. Someone with more delicate features, like Sigrid, works much better.

The main SS 2015 is definitely too Anna Sui for me, but that's clearly not up to Vanessa. On the other hand the Rêverie Parisienne Collection one is really well done I think, it does embrace the Chanel elegant look without being too cliché, and the hair makes it look more lively and not stale.

Sigrid is the face of the summer collection

Keira is the face of the new Rouge Coco lipsticks campaign.

I hope the new creative director will shake things up a little bit..
