I agree, such a pointless release.
Also why was that ultra cheap gold minaudiere shown on the latest runway show?
Why wasting money and resources on that or the revamped Cruise lookbook?

the models are his bv girls the pompons he loves to do are in here , the gold egg bag was used also in pre fall new york show , the new bag is in line with his odd cc placement on bags , the funny child like earrings styles are his style. rest is basic product adapted with color and leather choice.

I thought I could be the internal team trying hard to look MB but wasn’t sure if it was under him already, but makes total sense.

My gawd, as someone said, it looks like Bijoux Brigitte or Pandora, something you can get for 30€, and even them have better looking products :lol:
 
The simplicity feels like a palette cleanser after Chanel campaigns over recent seasons, and I'm here for it. I like the casting of Penelope Ternes and Haojie Qi here, who both look and feel expensive and help elevate the campaign. The minimalist art direction, as is the beauty styling... it's ALL working for me.
 
This campaigns feels like the worst business move CHANEL had in a very long time, as bad as Gucci's under Sabato. Such terrible corporate move, wrong on every single aspect.
The campaign was not properly advertised at all, there was no dedicated section in the website showing items details, the items looks terribly cheap and most of them (the gold quilted clutch, the crystal brooch) have been recycled in the Metiers D'Art subway show. Imagine a VIC asking the sale assistant info about those items shown on the runway and getting replied that they are already available as part of a cash grab holiday collection a La Michael Kors produced in a rush...tragic.
Who thought that manufacturing 3k brass earrings resembling Christmas tree decorations would have been a nice idea?
Another terrible business move was allowing MB to make that useless revamped Cruise 2026 look book with white background, his fav models and focus on silk accessories only because he loathed every single item from that collection. So you are looking at a Michael Kors circa 2000s knock off ad campaign on a magazine showing sorbet colored minidress and metallic mini 25 bags with models living a luxe luscious life in lake Como and then you browse the website and you see a total 180 from that aesthetic with a look book showing silk scarves over a white plain background. Ego from MB.
