Chanel J12 Watch

I forgot to mention that there is a 42, did anyone else know this? I was soo surprised to learn there was a 42...Now I want it more! The 42 doesn't come with markers though.

Foxie, I know nothing about the Dior watch, I just assumed it was like other designer watches and not really focused on movement. I did like it though.

It was too funny the way that they said it that I had to post it on here. I think it was referring to a J12 watch. I'm not sure though.

How do you tell apart fake J12's?

When I went to a jewelry store earlier this summer, a woman working there had a fake J12. I could tell because the bracelet wasn't ceramic, it looked like regular steel painted white. It had a "diamond" bezel too.

hey folks, just browsing the latest massive saks catalog, when a J12 caught my eye! i don't have a scanner, so can't post a pic...it was stainless steel with a ceramic black dial and ruby markers. very cool. priced 4100 us dollars...

OF course they knew, but it got me all worked up inside. They also had two HUGE black Hefty bags full of god-knows-what...

Its amazing, the fakes on Canal St are sooo horrid but the touristes from the Midwest run to them like lemmings.

Looks fake.

1. The links aren't glossy enough.
2. The underside of the links seem to be stainless steel, when the actual links are totally black and glossy.
3. The diamonds don't sparkle enough.

No problem.

I think it's a modern classic, very clean lines. In NYC I see it on practically everyone though, I see at least 30 a week, they're not as exposed as say a Cartier tank (which EVERYONE in NYC has). It also doesn't seem your style, you seem like a Breitling boy, definately not Cartier. Possibly Bulgari.

If Im ever in the "dirty" south I will certainly take up that offer. I can out-shop you, and Ill lure you away from monograms, I promise.
