CAN SOMEONE (norikkolol: PLEASE model there diamond J12 38mm on there wrist for me...so I can see size

Plus I HAVE not seen anyone here with this watch...BUT I do have alot of girls STOP ME and grab my arm in the malls and SAY OMG IS THAT THE J12 I say yes and they say I LOVE IT..

Agreed My SA was saying that the J12 really put Chanel on the map in the watch world. I also saw an article in a national watch magazine (for the life of me I cant remember which lol), about how Chanel made the transition from being strictly fashion in terms of watches to making a watch with excellent movement that can be respected in the watch community. Yes you are so right..I read that to..Don't get me wrong I think 9000 to 10,000 grand is ALOT to pay for a DESIGNER watch ..BUT chanel REALLY changed the way people think about DESIGNER watches with there J12...

its been a HOT seller for the last 5-6 years and they can't keep then in stock and there are waiting lists in the stores...

I guess time will tell how many years they will be around ..BUT from what I have read... I think they will be around for sometime....(I HOPEflower:

Thanks! I the diamond bezel J12s as well, obviously! Damage? Do you mean price? Little over $10,000 for the 38mm automatic I have. Worth every single penny though

As for modeling the watch, here is one, picture is kind of small though. I have such a stubby arm!

anyways i just bought the plain white j12 watch from the south coast chanel store and i'm in love with it! i'm sorta debating whether i should exchange it for the ones with diamond markers though. i think it's about a 1g more. also did the prices go up cause my watch costs me about 3900 after taxes. thanks!

Hey, I got my plain white 33mm from South Coast too, Nancy and Cherly are very nice. I actually prefer the numeric one more than diamond markers, diamond markers don't really "bling".....and I just think the font of the numbers look perfect on the watch. And yea, I think the price did go up. I bought mine last year, it was $3150 b4 tax I think, so after tax was like almost $3400.

awwwwfug: The price has gone up all over the US except here in Hawaii, something to do with the fact that its the Asia/Pacific market. Tax is pretty low here too (4%). I'm going to get the diamond markers J12 for my man and here the 38mm is $4050, they told me it was $4500 or something when I was on the continent. btw, if you like the numbers why not go for the one with the diamond bezel? I used to have the diamond markers J12 as well and definitely love my diamond bezel J12 more. Another interesting combination is the diamonds as the markers and filling the inner circle, which is what I'm considering in black since I already have a white one.

Which is where my J12 opinion question comes in! I'm thinking of getting a black J12 with the diamonds on the inside circle and for the markers. I don't have a picture but its one of the newest J12s that came out. What are your thoughts? I already have the white 38mm with the diamond bezel, but I just can't get enough of that watch!

If you look on the Chanel FJ site its basically the black with the with the inner circle filled with diamonds and the bezel. The only diff is that it doesnt have the diamond bezel and instead has the inner circle and the diamond markers. I like it, but for a little bit more I could just get another diamond bezel J12 in black. The one with only the inner circle/markers seems more discrete though. Bleh this is going to be a hard decision! .

Okay well I went to Chanel FJ today and basically decided that I either want the black with the diamond bezel and diamond center or to get the full diamond bracelet for the white diamond bezel J12 I already have. The black is just beautiful, but the bracelet would make my watch look amazing. Opinions please! btw if this helps at all, the black I'm looking at is $13,000 and the bracelet is $15,000 but has a lot more diamonds for the money.

Are there any fakes out there of the white ceramic Chanel J12?? I saw one on ebay..and the price was 150 pounds..about 300 USD. Can't remember whether it was starting price or buy it now price..nevertheless sounded a lot cheaper than retail.

My SA said that hes seen a few fake white J12s walk into the store lol. He said they were pretty good except for the fact that the diamonds were of inferior quality and the white was too chalky.

noriko, I'd get the black with diamond bezel. I'll be getting a plain white J12 for new years, but if I could afford it, I'd get the black with diamond bezel instead. That is my #1 favorite J12. I dont really like the black plain, but looove it with the contrast of the diamonds

I saw the diamond band and although I did like it, there was something about it I just didn't love.
