NORIKO, CONGRATULATIONS! THOSE REALLY ARE TWO BEAUTIFUL BABIES!!!!!

^^^:flower: Thanks! I'm glad I ended up getting a black instead of getting the diamond bracelet for my white first. I'll probably order the bracelet sometime in the next couple months  Not sure if I should get it for the white or the black first though!

That's what it MUST be, invitation only, but it is strange how NYC doesn't have one, it only makes sense! THIS IS NEW YORK CITY!!

Oooo, any J12 limited ed is gorgeous. Id love a black J12 w/ rubies on the bezel, plate and bracelet and a HUGE ruby cabochon on the pull (the one w/ ruby markers isn't remarkable enough)

I didnt know the J12 came in manual and automatic movements...I want whichever involves less work

I agree, the one with the ruby markers just doesn't look that special, I'd rather have the one with the diamond markers, especially on a guy.

The 33mm J12s are all quartz movement :( I neeeed an automatic watch, I love how the hands just glide. Plus there are no batteries to change etc^_^ The 33mm is super cute though!

The hands glide? The second hand? I noticed that too, I loved it! I dont like when the the hands just tick along, it's always annoyed me.

Wait, I heard something bad about a Quartz movement from a watch connoisseur friend of mine, or was that about some other part of the watch? Anyways, I was talking to him about how I heart the J12 so much and he was like I should get a Brietling because he thinks it suits me more, Breitlings are super-flashy, they have HUGE faces (I do like thier Cosmonaute though)

An almost run-in with a J12. Today, the sister got back from a business trip and she was wearing a watch with a white bracelet (:o) I grabbed her wrist and was about to freak out, but it was a Cartier watch. Appearantly Cartier is doing white bracelets too, it had a silver face and the bracelet was gradient; silver into white, very nice, actually. But still!! It's not a J12!!

Check out this Guess knockoff of the J12, the Jersey/Long Island girls are going to be so excited, this watch perfectly accessorizes thier "Lewis Vitahns" and Abercrombie.

Noriko, avert your eyes darling!!

   I haven't had the "pleasure" of seeing that Guess watch in person yet, but I've seen pics online. The band actually reminds me more of the Versace ceramic watch. I got to check them out while I was in NY, which was cool because we don't have a Versace store here in HI. They closed down for w/e reason. I thought it was really cool that it came in pink, but IMO something was missing from it. It wasn't as heavy and something about the face just didn't do it for me despite it having mother of pearl. The price point was a lot lower too, for the mother of pearl with diamonds it was only $7500, while my similar Chanel with diamonds but no mother of pearl face was $10,000. They also tried to tell me that the same company makes the ceramic for those watches, which Chanel told me was untrue. Its funny though, because I was told this by two Versace boutiques in different states, so I'm wondering if its standard practice to say things like that.

I've also seen the Harry Winston white watch, which is just beautiful! I  the huge diamonds on it, but in the end I couldn't see spending $30,000 on a beautiful white watch with a RUBBER band:doh: So far the J12 is my favorite white watch and it looks like it'll stay that way for a long time^_^

About the movement, yes I was talking about the second hand. Ever since I got my first nice watch in middle school (Rolex), it was instilled in me that automatic movement is important. I kind of just got used to the second hand flowing so freely and I guess now I can't go back:lol: Too bad the casing for the 33mm is too thin or w/e to house an auto movement:doh: Its such a cute watch^_^

i've been resisting it since they were lauched but i'm thinking of getting a j12- i'm debating between the black 38mm case with either the white or black diamond bezel- opinions?

Black diamonds, they're more masculine. I like the white diamonds on the markers because it seems to make the face brighter and the watch pop, but Id never get white diamonds on the bezel, because, on a man, it's too Kanye, also, black diamonds are sooo hot.

noriko I love your chanel watches! specially the black one it's divine!
how many j12's do you own may I ask you?

Thanks! :flower: Those are my only two, picking up another next month but its a gift. It would be awesome to add another to the collection but I can't find one that I'm truly in love with yet. I've toyed with the idea of getting the one with the pink sapphire bezel (white), but everyone thinks its too similar to my white with diamond bezel and they may be right. I might just hold out for a limited edition next, and of course the diamond bracelets for the ones I have :)

Here are some pics of my two preciouses!

Is this watch the 38? It's crazy how long I've been contemplating exactly which J12 I want. First I wanted the one without the diamond bezel, then with & then I was stuck on whether to get the white or black one! I've pretty much not been able to make up my mind, because their all so beautiful. I have a small wrist to so I was wondering what the perfect size for me would be & the one in the pics above looks perfect! I'm hoping I can atleast decide on something SOON.

travis, You would never go wrong with the black diamond bezel. I honestly think the white diamond bezel would look too blingy for a man, not to mention that the black diamond bezel just looks 100 times better .

Do these watches, particularly the white, come with diamond dial AND diamond bezel?

and i've seen less black diamond bezels around- i already have several black diamond pendents so i can wear the wtch with them. Is the movement on the watch any good on them?- or just a bog standard quartz?

I think the 38mm comes with automatic, and there are also special tourbillon edition and the J12 superleggra chronograph.

^ ok, i've just checked and it is automatic- i hate quartz. gotta have that sweeping hand- like noriko said..
