I don't think so, mehg. Give Chanel a call. The LP clutch won't be in until March or April so I assume that the waiting lists are just now starting up.

Thanks Chick. I might have to check out Chanel here and see what the deal is. Trouble is i'm uber poor at the moment and am thinking if I want Chanel I should invest in something more classic. However that is just too fun. As is the casette brooch and earrings. eeek. what will i do.

It also comes in black, which is the one I REALLY want, although the price is way overboard.

You can't really keep anything in those cassettes. You could maybe use it as a fancy night out clutch or something and keep your credit card, keys, and lipstick in it, and that's about it.

I really only wanted it because it's a humongous cassette! It's so kitsch. I wanted to clip it to my bag or something.

Exactly! You could also make the earings in the same way too. The record bags don't look that hard to make either. Just use strings of small shiny black beads to make the shape of the records.

I guess, but it's not as rewarding as saving up the money and buying the real deal. (However the cassette clutch will NEVER be worth the price they're asking, but if anyone wants to save up to buy it that's their business. I know I wouldn't! No matter how cute..)
